About Mathilde Lacombe

Hi, I’m Mathilde Lacombe – a writer, researcher, and lifestyle blogger based in New York City. For the past 7–8 years, this blog has been my creative home: a place where I research topics I care deeply about, analyse them honestly, and put those words on the page for real people to read and use.

I’m a New Yorker through and through. I studied at Pace University in New York and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Arts & Humanities – which taught me to think critically, write clearly, and always ask why before writing anything down. That academic foundation shapes everything I publish here.

“I don’t just write about things I like – I research them, test ideas, and write what I genuinely believe is useful for the women reading this.”

At the heart of this blog is my love for beauty, skincare, health, and women’s everyday life. As a woman navigating modern life in New York, I write about the things that actually matter to me – from building a skincare routine that works, to dressing with intention, to taking care of your mental and physical health in a city that never slows down.

And yes – I also write about pets. Because anyone who has ever loved an animal knows that’s just as much a part of life as anything else.
